Intramuros has cool Colonial architecture.  Though much of it was bombed to rubble by the Americans, this area has seen a lot of restoration.

Jeepney Bus

These buses are based on the original American Jeep.  They are all over the city.  Each one gets decked out with unique funky ju-ju.

  

This one sports the BMW radiator grill, the faux industrial strength winch assembly and the Pegasus hood ornament.

On our last night in Manila, we went to the Hobbit House.  They have a wealth of 70s and 80s amateur Gygax-esque Tolkeinata.  But the kicker is... all the waiters are dwarves and midgets.  Seriously.
