Coco Beach Resort

We spent a blissful two nights here.  The resort is on the northern edge of Mindoro, which means it's just south of Luzon, the main big island where Manila is located.

There are no roads to Coco Beach, you have to get there by boat.

We took the outrigger boat from the southern tip of Luzon.

Benoy and Dev (pronounced as "Dave").  Dev is the one in the life jacket.

As soon as we docked, everybody received their own coconut to drink.

This was the general idea.

Idyll.

Plenty of opportunity to "take relax," as they say in Vietnam.

This lady's job was to show us how Take Relax is done properly.

Coco Beach had a zillion activities on offer -- snorkeling, scuba courses, speedboats, tennis, you name it.  More importantly, they had a ping-pong table.

Dev was, for some reason, keenly interested in officiating.

This was our dinner table for Roast Chicken Night.

Nathalie and Alexa got henna tattoos.

Suanna at the bungee jump.

All six guys stretched her out and then... ftaang... off she went.

Here the posse sits in anxious anticipation, because in a few minute...

Happy hour arrives! Two-for-one drinks!

The house rule is that you may not share your drinks.  Everybody just doubles up.  Which led to some rather unsurprising results.

OMG!
In Coco Beach?

Suanna was, like, SO... DRUNK.

No, seriously.
